The lens has a very light haze which do not impact photographs but for which the price is amply discounted. Lens is renown for its extremely fine performance characteristics. |

The 135mm F4 Sonnar 4 Elements in 4 Groups
Introduced in 1958 together with the Contarex Bullseye. The classical medium sized telephoto lens with its design roots in the Contax camp. Nearest focus 120cm, B56 filter bayonet, 4 lenses in 4 groups, closes down to f22. Produced in chrome and in black with chrome focus ring. Because this lens was very popular, it remained in production for 15 years. Approx. 15000 pcs.were manufactured. Owing to its very fine properties at a very reasonable price, a relatively great number of this lens species were sold and it goes inexpensively in the current market when compared to its quality.

New in box with warranty papers as it came from the dealer Indistinguishable from new but no box or no papers or both Very close to new condition with only subtle signs of use or handling. Extremely nice condition but does show some handling and use but no hard use whatsoever. Excellent condition but shows some wear and use. Perfectly Excellent operating condition but cosmetics leave something to be desired.
