Every CANON camera body that we sell has all been completely CLA'd by our 40+ year Canon experienced photo metrology lab, has absolutely perfect meter and shutter speed operation and will not "SQUEAL" !
Distinguished by being the last and most highly evolved Canon professional manual focus camera ever produced, Highly electronically controlled despite its very "mechanical feel".
Introduced in 1981, only one year after Nikon's highly electronic F-3, the F-1(N) was Canon's top of the line professional camera body successor to the F-1(n) which had only the most minor of cosmetic changes to the original totally mechanical F-1 which had been introduced originally in 1971. Despite only the most subtle, to the point of being misleading, changes in nomenclature, the F-1(N) is marked the advent of an entirely new generation of professional camera bodies. Until the advent of the F-1(N) all Canon cameras intended for the professional ranks had been entirely mechanical in operation. Only the meter and motor drive depend on batteries for operation. It is a truly modularly designed camera body with light metering as well as certain other automation capabilities dependent on finder selection.
Differentiable Canon F-1(N) features comprise:
Increased ISO range 6-6400
Significantly improved motor and winder system
Significantly improved auto exposure systems and battery power source migrates to newer PX28 battery types
Match needle with standard prism - AE Aperture priority with AE head - Shutter priority AE with AE motor drive or AE winder.
