With 7 element in 7 groups and legendarily sharp, this particular lens is part of what has made the Zeiss Distagons famous for sharpness and color saturation. Weighing less than 10oz and protruding 2" from the camera body on which it is mounted, it is both very light and compact.
Both the T* and T* MM versions are substantially identical in optical formulations, coatings and mechanics. The only difference is in the capability for exposure control via the aperture mechanism, only relevant to the much later bodies.

New in box with warranty papers as it came from the dealer Indistinguishable from new but no box or no papers or both Very close to new condition with only subtle signs of use or handling. Extremely nice condition but does show some handling and use but no hard use whatsoever. Excellent condition but shows some wear and use. Perfectly Excellent operating condition but cosmetics leave something to be desired.
