The 8.5cm (85mm) F1.5 SUMMAREX LEICA's/LEITZ's Consumate SM/LTM Portrait Lens
One of the most wonderful rare lenses ever designed and executed for Leica SM (and, with a proper adapter, for Leica M [not supplied]) for Portrait photography. Achieves previously unattainable control of Depth Of Field combined with excellent Bokeh. The price of this lens is deeply discounted for the various aesthetic and optical flaws (cleaning marks and very shallow scratches) that it suffers and which our testing indicate will have no significant performance consequences. If you buy this lens and find otherwise or are not pleased for any reason, you may return it for a full refund. |

Rare and very sought after 8.5cm (85mm) F1.5 SUMMAREX

A nearly symmetric double Gauss seven element optical execution. Leica's first high speed ultra fast medium telephoto PORTRAIT LENS. Came first in black (in very low numbers during WWII) later in chrome. Produced only in screw mount. Later serial numbers were supplied with "M" adapters. Superb portrait lens with amazing Depth Of Field (DOF) control.
