Very nice condition though does show use. Upper body does have one very minor dent as shown. Trailing shutter curtain (released view) has a very minor film loading "bump" that is impossible to bring out. Has been completely CLA'd and meter and shutter speeds are precisely accurate. Camera body is in superb operating condition. Includes AE (aperture priority Auto Exposure) prism/finder. |

The X-1 was first introduced in Japan as Minolta's serious system candidate entry into the professional market as a very full system. Unlike competing systems from Canon and Nikon the body had no provision for coupling to a motor/winder device. This was a fatal omission/flaw and sales never took off with the professional ranks. After three years the motor variation, the XM Motor, a derivative with a permanently attached motor was introduced but it was too late as the damage to it in that market had already been done and Minolta was never to recover.

Extremely nice condition but does show some handling and use but no hard use whatsoever. Excellent condition but shows some wear and use. Perfectly Excellent operating condition but cosmetics leave something to be desired. Usable but has mechanical, optical and cosmetic issues as indicated in individual descriptions Issues as indicated in individual descriptions Very significant conditions as indicated in individual descriptions. The lower end of this range is basically a paperweight that looks something like it might once have taken some pictures.
