This camera body is substantially similar to the FT2 but has an AI/AIS compatible coupling which must/can be moved out of the way to accommodate earlier lens types. It weighs about 1 1/2 oz less than the FT2, has an FT3 engraving as a prefix to the serial number and the battery compartment cover specifies FT2/3 1.5 volts. Introduced mid 1977 with onset SN 6000001 and ended in 1979 with the FM introduction.

New in box with warranty papers as it came from the dealer Indistinguishable from new but no box or no papers or both Very close to new condition with only subtle signs of use or handling. Extremely nice condition but does show some handling and use but no hard use whatsoever. Excellent condition but shows some wear and use. Perfectly Excellent operating condition but cosmetics leave something to be desired.
